sitting on the hillside watching all my friends die one by one they’re falling down and i’m left with the sound and i can’t breathe it’s all i can see it doesn’t have to be the worst outcome for me change my mind change my heart change my vision and change my art change my fortune change my fall change my everything take it all change my body and shift my eyes move through everything  stuck inside all hail the sun lord hear my plea i don’t even know if i can be free my friends all fall but leap without a sound it's been a thing for centuries, i'm tapping into something  primal even when there's no apparent danger keep an eye out like everyone’s a stranger it's all i see and no amount of caution can prevent impending destruction i love you brother and i've been overbearing too much advice i pushed you right up to the edge my friends all fall but only in my mind it's been a thing for centuries, i'm tapping into something  primal even when there's no apparent danger keep an eye out and all my senses triggered it's all i see and no amount of caution can prevent impending destruction i love you brother and i've been overbearing too much advice i pushed you right up to the edge

about

based on an internal event in the Appalachians, in which i was caught in a blinding thought loop of images of dramatic and improbable things happening to people i care about. it was only a single private event, but just by going through that disorientation, i picked up a big ole pile of insight into my anxious nature and some of the stuff i do and say in panic, and i got a lil songy song out of it.
